Our most recent Pens Against Poverty winners were announced in October 2025, during Anti-Poverty Week.
To celebrate the winning and highly commended entries, Anglicare Australia held an awards ceremony for students, parents and teachers at the Canberra Museum and Gallery. The ceremony was hosted by award-winning author Mr David Conley, alongside special guest Dr Stephanie Owen Reeder.
Minister for Education, The Hon Jason Clare MP, also recorded a special message recognising the students and teachers who took part.
